Yay for a new blog! I was just thinking that I would like to start blogging again some time, and when I do I will "rebrand" to something more me. Lol! Congratulations again on Quilty! See you next week!

Love your solid colors chain quilt. My daughter in law loves to work with solid colors only. Your quilts are a great find!

I love the quilt on Moda Bake Shop! That's awesome to have a cover quilt on Quilty!

I love to do hand work, especially in the evenings when I'm watching TV with my husband (even though I'd rather be in my sewing room!). Pinwheels make great handwork. Use a tight running stitch along the diagonal line to make half square triangles. Yes, it takes longer then sewing them up by machine, but it makes great handwork if you really want to work on a quilt project but don't want to do applique. I'm headed to my sewing room now to sort through my solids!

Just found your blog..linked from Moda Bake Shop( love it! ).. Glad to find you
