I'm SO excited to share this quilt with you today! I designed this quilt back in February, and submitted it as a sketch to Modern Patchwork. It was accepted, and the only catch was that I had three weeks to make the quilt, and one of those weeks I'd be gone to Quilt Con! Needless to say, it was a crazy adventure to get it done, and it didn't help that everywhere I ordered more Kona Silver from (for the background) cancelled my order!!! Thankfully, I was able to get it done, in part because of a crazy ice/snow storm we had that shut down Fort Worth for about a week, and allowed daddy to keep the kids occupied while I sewed sewed sewed!
I love this quilt - it is one of my favorites! I love the simple color palette, and the maze like design. It is available to purchase in the new Fall 2015 issue of Modern Patchwork magazine (along with another one of my designs that I'll post about soon!)
I'm entering this quilt into the Blogger's Quilt Festival: Original Design category. I hope you'll stop by to vote for it, and to see the amazing quilts!
